TOWN OF MILLSTON BOARD MEETING MINUTES
2-14-2024
The Town of Millston Board members met on Wednesday, February 14th
, 2024, at the Community Center.
Meeting called to order by Mike at 6:30 pm. Board Members present: Mike Yahn, Chairman, Dawn Wojtyla,
Clerk, Dan Smrekar, Supervisor 1, George Riedel, Supervisor 2, Sue Marcou, Treasurer.
Minutes from 1-10-24 were read, Motion to approve made by George, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.
QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
• Sue mentioned that the outhouse behind the union church is falling down and asking if the Town could
help demolish and remove. Mike stated that there will be a minimum charge of $50.00 as he feels that
this can be accomplished in ½ hr. Sue will relay information to Church Board.
CLERKS REPORT
• Check/voucher number 18099 through 18120 with 10 EFT for a total of $150,080.12.
• Motion to move $17,000 from the equipment fund to checking to pay for plow for loader, second by
Dan. Motion carried. Sue will transfer the money.
• Motion to accept the clerks’ report made by George, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.
OPERATOR/LIQUOR LICENSES
• n/a
TREASURERS REPORT
• Sue reported checking account balance as of 1-31-2024 is $248,199.47.
• Motion to accept treasurer’s report made by George, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.
DELMORE -CULVERTS
• Motion by George to approve Delmore consulting to do the Culvert Inventory as required by the State of
Wisconsin, seconded by Dan. Motion carried.
TRAILS END – ATV/UTV ROUTE
• Mike has started the process with communications with the State to see if we can lower the speed limit
on STH 12 to 35mph thru the town limits, which would allow us to request this to be an ATV/UTV route,
which would allow ATV/UTV’s access to the Trails End.
ZONING REQUEST -STEPHEN SNYDER 2024-6
• Request to change 3.49 acres of R4-Manufactured Residential Home to R3-Cabin/Cottage Residential
Home. The Town of Millston supports the request and will send signed form to Zoning.

• Mike went over David's report.
